We worked at the foot of the Vatican Museums, on the northern side of the Vatican walls between Via Leone IV and Viale Vaticano. The goal was to create a space for games and sports for the many children who participate in the now well-known “Estate Ragazzi” (Kids’ Summer Camp) every summer.

Ex Manifattura Tabacchi_ Turin

The goal of the call for proposals was to create a new system of spaces within the Ex Manifattura Tabacchi that would enhance the existing historical structures, including some modern ones by Pier Luigi Nervi, and transform them into a new, contemporary cultural and social hub capable of operating on both the micro and macro scales. The revitalized site will instill new energy in a currently neglected area, catalyzing attractive activities for all residents.

Lecce, a university residence in the spaces of the former Carmelitani Scalzi convent

The project stems from a dialogue between protecting the historical and architectural value of the former convent and incorporating new contemporary interventions. The goal is to preserve the most valuable spaces while introducing independent elements, recognizable in their contemporary language, capable of reinterpreting the vitality of the internal garden and the sculptural complexity of the roofs, offering a physical, perceptive, and emotional experience.

L’edificio fino ad oggi adibito ad uffici, ha un’esposizione prevalente a nord, ma ha anche una corte interna da valorizzare ed una facciata verso la città che si presta a comunicare una nuova immagine pensata per essere attrattiva e di riscatto rispetto ad un edificio che è rimasto per lungo tempo trascurato
