The project site is located in a green area, with a strong natural feel, enhanced by the large green space bordering the Pineto Urban Park on the northwest side.
Two volumes are connected by a single roof, designed to create a focal point for the internal recreation area for patients. The relationship between the volumes creates a “secret” garden that enhances the connection with the surrounding greenery.
Each room in the rehabilitation center has a large terrace, enhancing the living spaces’ comfort and livability.
Therefore, the idea was to enhance all the outdoor spaces by using trees that reflect the native species found in these areas, with a focus on their beneficial properties for humans, while also seeking to reflect the site’s intended use—that of a rehabilitation center—from a natural perspective.
