The project’s goal is to create new training spaces to implement learning methods in line with evolving workplace training and communication systems, optimizing knowledge transfer and reflecting the values of Poste Italiane.

The project is integrated into the landscape of Posillipo, a place of great landscape and architectural value. The goal is to enhance the site’s environmental and cultural qualities through the restoration and redevelopment of the former Casina Sportiva complex.

The building, with exceptional views of the Gulf of Naples, will be enhanced by an approach that highlights its rationalist features and local materials: Neapolitan yellow tuff, locally handcrafted ceramics, and native flora, creating a seamless connection between nature and architecture. The project includes improved accessibility with ramps, stairs, and an elevator, as well as seismic and energy retrofitting. The complex will house Campus Italia, a higher education center dedicated to the Digital, Security, and Tech sectors.

The project is structured around five strategic objectives: restoration and enhancement of the heritage, optimization of interior and exterior spaces for versatile use, improved accessibility, creation of a hierarchy between natural and artificial elements, and optimization of costs and maintainability.

The project includes:

. Redevelopment of the existing building and its connections to the city: consolidation project for seismic improvement; upgraded building with new energy-efficient systems and improved (accessible) vertical connections; new interior architecture design with flexible and separable spaces for different activities.
. Creation of a new panoramic roof garden: a sensory and energy-efficient space, ideal for educational and creative activities.
. Reorganization of the outdoor spaces with: an outdoor work area with smart workstations; a garden for informal meetings, relaxation, and recreational activities; and a public space for events, socializing, and seaside activities.
